Bio:

Not much is known about Key’s past other than that both of his parents died during the attack on New York back in 2012, and that he has a younger brother currently out there under a different name due to witness protection and is in the foster system.

Other than that, all of Keegan’s memories have been nothing but the scientists and tests that made him who he is today. Not born with his powers but given them by men trying to create weapons against the US Government in SHIELD.

He was originally being held in a facility somewhere in the middle of Afghanistan and had only been recently transferred to the New York facility when SHIELD attacked and rescued him and took him back with them.

They discovered early on what he could do, along with his lack of understanding of the real world. He was almost feral, understanding very little English but he seemed to understand basic American Sign Language and some words. He seemed confused and wouldn’t answer any of their questions. When a nurse tried to give him an IV, he exploded half of the room they had him in. The one nurse was the only one injured, but they got to her quick enough so she would be okay.

They currently have him restrained in a separate infirmary room and they have been slowly trying to get through to him. They managed to get his name because he kept signing the letters though he didn’t seem to respond to it when they said it.

He’s been with SHIELD for about a week now, but he’s already calmed down a lot now that he knows they won’t hurt him and he seems to understand the restraints are there because they don’t know him. They think he has potential and they are planning on continuing to work with him and get him ready to be around other people.
